Hello, fellow Authors for Harris!
It’s debate night! To paraphrase Jane Austen—I am equal parts hope and dread. I personally can’t stand listening to the orange menace so I might just have to follow along on social media. But eyes on the prize! She’s competent, he’s a lying convict! Whatever he or she does tonight should not influence our resolve or our commitment.

Voter registration! Even here in Canada I’ve now registered six people! Lots of Americans here who didn’t know they could vote or had never bothered to register. Every vote counts! We need to win in undeniable numbers. This is true even in “red” states! The campaign is persuing a strategy of closing the gap in red counties. If they lose by smaller numbers, the blue votes in the cities flip the state blue in many swing states. So register every one you can and make sure they have a plan for election day or before - early voting starts soon in many states!

At the beginning of each shift, there is a 20-minute training session so you can pick up the phone and ‘Speak Now’ for Kamala like a pro! Sign up and make plans to call here!
We could call it even; you could HOST a phone bank on the week(end)! If you have a marvelous time hosting everything, gather your Blue Pack friends from the city and lead a phone bank for Harris-Walz! A member of the Organizing Events team will help you (& your friends) get set up and ensure that you’re fully prepared. Let’s start making those plans!
